Role: Project Manager
Agency: Matter Communications

A website with custom renderings for a breakthrough robotic surgery brand.

Vicarious Surgical is reimagining abdominal surgery through robotics and AI. I managed multiple teams to enhance Vicarious’ digital brand ahead of launching as a publicly traded company.

This project was scoped, signed, and delivered in just under 4 weeks! I planned and coordinated efforts across the digital marketing team of art directors, UX designers, copywriters, engineers, as well as our in-house animation and PR teams. We expanded Vicarious’ visual brand, built a new website, better articulated their goals for investor relations, and produced content for podcasts, social media and a new blog.

I ran briefings and stand-ups, organized documentation, routed feedback, and removed blockers to keep each group in sync.

I was the primary point of contact for the client to facilitate approvals for content and assets throughout the project. Every aspect of the website including the robot renderings and animations had to be vetted by legal experts. During QA and launch week I fielded questions from SMEs, addressed client concerns, and maintained morale as we dug through the details. I used our project management software, ClickUp, to track tasks internally (for the agency teams) and an email update series to keep our clients and their partners up to speed.
